Rachel is an award winning composer and lyricist and has cowritten two musicals. In 2012, Bombshell Baby!: A WW2 Musical (cowritten with Christiana Cole), was produced in a sold out run at Ensemble Studio Theatre. Rachel wrote, arranged, and music directed the score for wRETCH - the final concert, collaborating with writer/performance artist Pandora Scooter. The show was produced as part of the Fresh Fruit Festival at The Wild Project in Manhattan. Rachel and Pandora were recognized by the festival for writing wRETCH, and were awarded 2017's Best Musical. In 2018 Rachel composed music for two productions- Hamlet at Happenings, and Pericles- while completing her MFA studies with the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Academy for Classical Acting. She has also written another collaboration with Pandora Scooter, The Gay Anthem-- a play with music honoring the Stonewall Riots. In addition to singing, Rachel plays piano, and guitar, as well as a bit of bass, ukulele, and accordion.
